Offering Pilates on the Equipment for individuals and small groups
My home studio is based on Mercer Island in Seattle. I have 4 reformers and 2 split level Wunda chairs and can teach groups of up to 6 on the equipment.
If there are more than 4 people in a class the group rotates each week to experience the different equipment. We can target the same muscles groups on both pieces of the equipment, this is a great way to add a challenge but also provide a different perspective to each exercise.
It will be more beneficial and enjoyable to everyone if individuals in each group are at a similar level of experience with similar objectives. This way I can ensure everyone moves at a pace suitable for them and everyone can progress together.
At your request we can incorporate Barre into the class to further challenge posture and balance.

*Tempo Pilates is an up-tempo class consisting of a series of classical Pilates exercises that continually flows from one to the next at a relatively fast pace. The class is designed to help you build endurance, strength and stability whilst focusing on good technique ensuring that movement comes from the deep core muscles. This is a mat-based class which will also incorporate small equipment such as toning circles, stretch bands, gliders and balls to keep you challenged! Recommended for people who have a good understanding of their bodies.
Please note that I like to keep my classes small so that everyone gets the individual attention that they require. Therefore spaces are limited on a first come, first served, basis.
Private Sessions are the perfect way to achieve your goals, as well as practice at a time that suits you in the comfort of your own home.

If you are looking for a cardio workout aswell as a Pilates session, we can mix the Barre and Pilates Matwork in one private session. We will need a sturdy chair, room for a Pilates mat and enough space to freely move your arms and legs around when lying on the floor, everything else i will supply.
Private sessions can be with your family, friends or colleagues.
Please note that a 50% cancellation fee will apply for less than 24 hours notice.
