My littlest one has been attending the pre school ballet at studio 52a and I have to say it is absolutely amazing. The class is based around a story and the children are encouraged to act out the characters aswell as being involved in helping tell the story. All the children are captivated from the moment they walk in the room, Becky is absolutely brilliant with the kids and they absolutely love her.
Becky is keen to start up a creative ballet class for ages 5 and up, and Studio 52a are offering a free trial on the first week back to term after school on wednesday 8th January. The class sounds brilliant and perfect for my little angels. My older 2 girls will definitely be attending so maybe I will see you there. I will advise that you book though as places are limited.
“Creative ballet classes are designed to focus on the performance side of ballet, and students will be encouraged to develop an understanding of artistry and stagecraft as well as having the opportunity to develop their creativity. Ballet is a performance art and we believe very strongly that performing in front of an audience develops confidence, self esteem, the ability to work with others, focus, concentration and memory skills all of which are highly beneficial skills to have in life.”
