For me, school mornings are by far the most stressful time of day, and as we approach christmas I can really notice the girls are getting more and more exhausted towards the end of each week. So I have decided it is time to chase away those morning pre school blues, and start the day with a Swift Breakfast Boogie.
Many countries (including ours) do this before school and work, and have been doing so for many years.It is well known that exercise and music can reduce stress, and increases serotonin levels in the brain. Any time your children exercise, their bodies release endorphins, that not only relaxes them but can often create a greater sense of well-being, the same goes for us adults. So in my eyes there is no better reason than to put on your favourite track, and help wire the brain for the challenges of the day. Maybe you could join in the Swift Breakfast Boogie…….
